Merry Christmas from a secret club
A secret club is taking Christmas very seriously, each year we are creating our very own advent calendar and this year we gave a little gift to everyone who visited us on www.schhh.org.
There were things to download and make and things to look at and get inspired.
Here is a little retrospective of some of the items what were to be found.
This was the gift wrap I designed. Above (day 2) you can also see Kenn's beautiful design.
A secret club is very fond of collage challenges. The star on the left was a collage challenge I received from Kenn. We also posted the raw materials as a gift to everyone and you could have a go and make your own. The festive miniature bunting was a download.
I am a bit obsessive when it comes to Christmas decorations, I must admit. Each year I like to make something new to hang on the tree or in the window. This time, I experimented with lots of found bits and pieces of paper, animal pictures, doillies, old stamps, pens and string and glass beads. The two sides of each ornament differ slightly.
We also had a paper kit to make a snowman's nose, as worn here by the little fox in my drawing. The shadow forest was designed by Kenn and it is one of my favourites in a secret club's advent calendar. It is so beautifully spooky and the best thing is, that one could give the trees different party hats to wear as an extra - Genius!
And on December 24th ...
you could get, this strange little guy. He is still available to download for a couple of days longer, if you go here! He is called Inky and tends to tangle himself up in a knot occasionally, but that's just his way, he is a pleasant chap, really.
Merry Christmas to you all and a very Happy New Year!
See you soon.
